TUPEN
In line with growing interest in the political economy of public policy in Türkiye, The Turkish Political Economy Society (TPES), which was formed in 2013, progressed into The Turkish Political Economy and Public Policy Network. It aims to connect scholars and students of political economy and public policy in Türkiye and beyond and provide a forum for discussion of ideas and research. Its current executive committee is composed of Caner Bakir (Koc University), Tolga Bolukbasi (Bilkent University), Ebru Ertugal (Ozyegin University), Saime Ozcurumez (Bilkent University), Isik Ozel (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid), and Alper Yagci (Bosporus University).
TUPEN with its interdisciplinary and comparative focus will have its first conference on Policymaking and Political Economy of Türkiye in Times of Existential Crises.
The Department of International Relations, Özyeğin University and the TUPEN jointly organises this conference on November 19, 2021 (see below call).
Dr. Ebru Ertugal of Özyeğin University is the convenor of the conference.
